Our Team

Lucie Picardo

Manager

Safeguarding Lead

Most likely to...

Perform a Julia Donaldson book with gusto! Lucie loves bringing reading and literacy to life through playfulness and fun. She used to be an English teacher (and she’s a bit of a show off) so she really can’t help herself!

Simone Firmin

Practitioner

Most likely to...

Be right in the middle of an imaginative game! Simone is warm and nurturing and is a popular playmate for the children. As a mum to two boys, Simone is expert at having fun (but secretly always teaching - she’s sneaky like that).

Grant Picardo

Deputy Manager

Most likely to...

Be thinking up new ideas for the garden! Grant is the lead on our outside environment and is always thinking of ways to enrich our garden whether that is building bug hotels with the children, planting vegetables or setting up a new role play area!

Marsha Baggallay

Practitioner

Most likely to...

Notice all the small details! Marsha is so calm and observant; quickly tuning into new children, even those shier children who need a little more time to settle in. She also notices all the little victories a child has, even on a busy day, and always knows exactly what her key children like and need.

Charlotte Ellis

SENCO

Most likely to...

Be discussing rainforests or the Arctic or the African savanna with a transfixed group of children! Charlotte loves travel and brings her enthusiasm for different places and cultures to Montessori with her.

Michelle Morgan

Practitioner

Most likely to...

Be leading a totally fabulous Dance or Yoga circle time complete with Disney music and rainbow ribbons! Michelle is passionate about making dance and movement inclusive for all. She is always using circle times as an opportunity to build speech and language skills and physical dexterity.

Testimonials

What our parents say about us...

“From yummy lunches, applying suncream, cuddles and having lots of fun…Frinton Montessori really is the best setting around and I feel very lucky that both my daughters were able to attend.”

“I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for making *’s Montessori journey so amazing. Memories she will treasure forever. I asked her what her favourite part of Montessori was and she replied ‘The dinners’. When she began she would only eat fish fingers and now she’s eating thirds of Mediterranean pasta bake.. love that!”

“You guys have created something extraordinarily special here. Your early childhood experience and knowledge and love of the children knows no bounds and I really feel you have given him a very special journey to Frinton Primary.”

“Letting her go was a real struggle but knowing she has been with you for the past two years has honestly been life changing. Thank you for going above and beyond for her. It has never once gone unnoticed how patient and caring you all are. You have given her the best start in her learning life and we are forever grateful we chose you and the Montessori team.”
